Anyone know anything about this?

Postby Tb12 on September 20th, 2015, 8:05 am

Hi guys,
This is not bfs related as such but it's symptom I have had from my teenage years that no one could find a diagnosis for, I know that a lot of people on here are intelligent and might even just have a suggestion of what it could be...

I woke up one day with feeling of fluid in my head I could move my head and feel it swish around, I have dizziness if I get up from laying and it's worse when I get up after laying down so stones it feels like it moves from the side of head to top of forehead ...

I feel it puts my off balance and makes my head feel super heavy..

ENT ruled out what they could on ear exam but said I was dizzy with a table test

MRI is clean..

No sinus issues..

Any ideas?

I can hear heart pounding in my ear at times not sure if that's connected.

Never heard about such symptome, but I could suggest at least two possible variants:
labyrinth issues (inner ear) - but this would probably been found by ENT or some knid of migraine (which does not always means pais but oftem involves various strange sensory issues).

Having dizziness when getting up generally means you have so called orthostatic hypotonia, and this is not uncommon (I woud say VERY COMMON) in people with autonomous system disorders like we experience. It happens becasue your vessels supplying your brain could not accomodate too fast with your standing position. So probbaly your feeling of 'liquid' is just associated sensory issue so your scalp skin just feels air movement around it as a 'liquid inside'.
