It is 8 months since i got my first twitch today and the last 2 months has been almost symtom free.
I get an occational twitch now and then and some buzzings but nothing that I pay much attention to.
My advise to you is to not pay attention to them, it makes it worse. I was once where you were, so I know it is really tough!

Thanks for the advise. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Did you ever see a doctor or just learned to ignore them?

I went to see a doctor, but just my GP, no neuro specialist.

Some other advise:

**Don't ever look up ALS on the internet - YOU DON'T HAVE IT!

**This site is great but just visit it when you feel really bad. If you are visiting this site several times a day you are not ignoring your BFS.

**Have fun, do all things you have dreamed about. Don't sit at home and feel sorry for yourself.

Do you mind sharing what your GP said and how bad were your twitches and where?

Full body twitches, and I mean FULL!
Started with an eyelid twitch, then on to the feet and from there to everywhere.
Short list starting from bottom:
Toes, feet, calves and the rest of the legs, @ss, penis, stomach, back, neck, fingers, arms, face, toungue, nose, eylid, ears, and the bottom of my hair. Everywhere I have a muscle! Not all at the same time. Twitching 24/7 and it was worst in the evenings.

I have had an occational twicth but more than like 20 a week after june.

My GP just told me that twitches like mine come and go. Almost everyone have them sometime in life.

I just have to stop smoking now, thats more dangerous for my health then the twitches ever will be.

My advise to you is to not pay attention to them, it makes it worse.

No offense as I know your heart only means well, but in actuality there may be those who here are twitching as a result of stress, disease, infection, side effects, or adverse drug reactions.

Well, it is back... It came back exactly 365 days after my first twitch. Weird...

I got like 10 twitches in one arm today, but then it went away.
I remembered that some years ago I had those BFS twitches all over!
