For the second night in a row I've been awoken by my foot twitching 10 times consecutively in the middle of a deep sleep. Is this a bad sign that it's not just anxiety? I'm really worried. If it was anxiety, how could it happen in my sleep? Someone please answer.

Why are you up searching for reasons to be scared? No this is not a bad sign.

Haha, do you think that anxiety ends up when you close your eyes???

anxiety makes physical damage to your brain, musckles and hormonal system, None of them are really sleeping when you sleep (otherwise you could not process daily info).

And no it is not a bad sing. I was awakened today with a cramp in my leg, which is also not a bad sign I think because night crapms just tend to happen.

Nope. Its quite common for BFSers to have difficulty sleeping through the night, due in large part to the fact that the stronger twitches can wake you up. That, coupled with anxiety of course makes for a bad nights sleep. You're not alone and its nothing to be worried about. Also, the feet and legs are among the most common places to twitch, even among those who don't twitch enough to have BFS. For instance, my mom told me that after she exercises the arches of her feet twitch, almost after every workout. She said its always been that way, she just never cared enough to notice it.
