Buzzing pelvic area

Postby Jlc on August 25th, 2013, 3:51 pm

Hi guys,

On top of all of my other weird symptoms (tremors, pain, Twitches, swallowing troubles etc.), my pelvic area feels like there is a cell phone vibrating at different times throughout the day. This has been happening off and on since may. Has anyone experienced this?

Yes, many of us have. Try to remember that none of these symptoms are weird for BFS.

Fairly new to all of this ..... but, good to hear. Was just out to dinner and I had my purse leaning against my thigh. It felt like my cell phone was ringing/vibrating in my purse against my thigh. I could have sworn it was my phone. But, lo and behold, I had accidentally left my phone at home.

So, buzzing feeling is "normal"?

Thanks johnny. Stacey, when this started happening I was laying on the couch in my boxers and felt my phone vibrating. I thought "that's weird, I don't have a pocket in my boxers and don't know how else my phone would get into my underwear."

This condition literally had me admitted to the psych ward in a french hospital. The only plus side was that they handed out free cigarettes. I couldn't benefit though (of course) because I don't smoke.

Yes, its quite normal for people like us. If you search (upper right corner of this site) for buzzing there will be loads of people saying the exact same thing. Its all good.

I have had this and in my foot too. GP thought I was mad but my neuro who is an ALS specialist laughed and says he gets that all the time quote "please don't worry about that, hell I'm a neurologist and I haven't worked out what that one is but I often think its my phone and its not!"

That did make me feel better so thought I'd pass it on

Wow that's awesome that you had a neuro who experienced that exact bizarre symptom. Thanks so much for sharing.

He also admitted that his calves are always twitching! I guess there are some things that are just "normal". Although at the height of my panics i find it hard to believe! My foot " rang" for about 5 days!

I has this in my groin/pelvis for about 6 months when I bent my neck forward, I too thought I was my phone, which it wasn't, had MRI all clear, had the buzzing on and off since

Forget it as it's not worth worrying about. I had constant foot and pelvic area buzzing for ages and it comes and goes. I have health anxiety and I am NOT worried!
