an almost car accident

Postby dont on May 26th, 2004, 8:24 am

Yesterday on my way home from work I was in the slow lane on the interstate and a car came over into my lane. I immediately slammed on my breaks very fast and went into the emergency lane without even giving it a second thought. After I said a few choice words and laid on my horn I thouht a little later "hey that was all done with the right side of my body". If I had ALS I wouldn't have been able to do that they way I did it. Most of my perceived weakness is on the right side of my body. I had absolutely no trouble slamming that break with my right foot and using my right hand to turn the steering wheel. I'm just wondering why I do this to myself. I woke up this morning with a jelly right leg and I went right back to thinking "oh Gosh here comes the weakness again."
