Cheek fibrillates under tension

Postby huefre on November 23rd, 2007, 6:04 am

Hi all!

I have medical problems since 3-4 month. At first I perceived fatigue, heaviness and sometimes coordination problems. I went into hospital for 4 days and they checked me for MS (I am 26 yrs. old). Nothing found (MRI Head + Spine, lumbal punction). It was better for some days but soon started again. This time the heaviness was accompanied by some twitches.(hands, calves, face, shoulder). I went to another neuo who sent me to an EMG test. The EMG was made on hands and feet but only lasted very short (about 30-40 minutes). The neuro said he doesn't see anything suspicious.
Last week I discovered, that my tongue also fibrillates if I stretch it out (its head waves at very high frequency). I also can provoke fasciculations in my left cheek if i tense it and hold the tension for some seconds.
Since I discoverd that, I am sitting around making grimaces.
Has anybody else such phenomenons?
