life's a twitch

I have had BFS symptoms for about 6 months now. It started after I had been diagnosed with a type of painful but supposedly benign tumor (hemangioma or venous malformation) in my calf. Could it be that my anxiety about having a tumor in my leg brought on BFS? I believe that my stress about other areas of my life also contributed to it, but then again, everyone has stress and not everyone gets BFS, so why me? Since then the symptoms have worsened to aching, stiff, cramped legs and twitching all over, as well as fatigue. I have recently tried acupuncture and switching to a raw, natural foods diet. Perhaps it is too soon to tell, but so far I don't feel better. I only feel better temporarily after a hot soak in a bath/jacuzzi, massage, and stretching. Daily life is now very difficult with this pain. Does anyone else feel frustrated out of their mind that they can no longer do the active things they love to do? Also scared because I don't know what exactly is wrong with me and if I am dying of some mysterious disease. Any advice/comments will be greatly appreciated.
