I had the same crap and still do, I got so freaked I went and had a barium swallow done and it was negative. The problems that Carol experienced were esophageal spams, that is much different then that feeling like someone has there had on your throat, this actually afftects the action of the esophagus, which is almost or actually is I believe like a sphincter muscle it moves in a way to push food down into your stomach, in Carol's case the food gets stuck a long the way because the esophagus is weak and goes into a spam.

If you are really concerned mention it to your doctor, I did he thought I really lost it.

its all about Structure Kerri...learning what is setting off your anxiety's and learning to not only accept it but avoid it.

The thing is Kerri, you worry about all these diseases, about the possibilities of being disabled or dying, but if you take a long hard look at yourself you are already disabled, you obviously having problems functioning from day to day, you know what id suggest you do?? Go to some groups, actually meet people that are dying or suffering from ALS or MS etc etc, I gurantee it will give you a different perspective on your situation.
