Muscle cramping

Postby DeeDee on March 14th, 2005, 2:30 pm

I am curious how many of you are experiencing muscle cramping/cramp-like pains.

It seems like I am having a flare-up every week or so. With each flare-up, I experience muscle aching/tenderness/cramping. I also find that if my arm or hand is in a cetain position too long, I experience a terrible aching/stiffness sensation.

Anyone else????

Thanks everyone for always being supportive!

Cramp and cramp like sensatations along with occasional tenderness/aching muscles since starting with PNH in 95.

Steve.

The first six years are the worst.

Although they've dropped off somewhat over the last few months, I do get what I call partial cramps where muscles stay in a sustained tightened state, but not a full blown cramp. This occurs mainly in my calves and especially my face/jay.

In fact, oddly enough, I don't think I've had any full blown cramps since this all started.

Cheers,

That describes what's been happening to my calves lately.

They are exactly what you described. Not a full blown cramp. I read on the archives that others seemed to cramp as the BFS progressed. I am assuming that this is what is happening.
