Gatorade for muscle twitches??

Anyone heard of trying gatorade for muscle twitches? something to do with electrolytes..

There was a person here recently who told of drinking tons of gatorade and how it helped his twitches. You might do a search using the word gatorade and read what he had to say. Pretty interesting.

Lots of sugar in Gatorade. Overloading on electrolytes is not a wise thing to do but if you are constantly exercising and sweating profusely, gatorade will give you a lift. Not sure a steady diet of it will do much of anything but get you fatter. Drink water its cheaper and has no calories.

I just read your post, and as a runner, I do know that electrolyte imbalances or deficiences can be helped by Gatorade.

From what I've read in various articles, electrolyte problems can cause twitching.

My doctor also said to try quinine (tonic water)
