klonopin

I had to go to my GP yesterday for my yearly checkup, and I mentioned to him about all of you here being on klonopin and how it seems to be helping , he had know problem and gave me I guess the lowest dose .5 or something, then he told me to cut it in half then just kinda play with it to see how it helps, just wondering if this sounds like what you all are doing?

Thanks for your input

Yep, that's what the general rule of thumb is. I find .25 in the am, .25 in the afternoon, and .5 at bedtime works for me. It's very individual, and I'm sure it depends also on severity of symptoms, body weight, drug tolerance etc. My doctor also said to work with the dose using a maximum of .5mg 3x day.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

P.S. I recently added Neurontin 100mg 3x daily, it's helped reduce symptoms even more. However...they're never completely gone.
