5 Year Twitching

I have now been twitching for 5 years which is a major milestone for me as I have a strong familial link to |MND/ALS.
I continue to twitch 24/7 in my lower legs but no longer feel the majority of them unless they occur in another part of my Body which are normally hit and run.I'm continuing to take Pregabalin 450mg/day which has a spin off when dealing with anxiety and also dampens down the nerves from firing off so believe that it has helped me personally having been on it about 3.5 years.
Glad to see (in a good way)so many long term twitchers as it continues to lead to this condition we have being Benign.
If I contine to twitch for the next 30 years then so be it.

Thanks so much for the update! Looks like you'd been away for more about three years which is a very good sign. Love it when people come back like this because, like you said, it adds to our collective little database here about longer term outcomes.

Thanks guys.
I guess the meds have helped because in the beginning this site was an obsession to me but at the same time helped save my life.Got into a very dark place because of the twitching.
It never leaves you but I guess you learn to live with it and have had a good time running credit cards up thinking I wouldnt be around to pay the bill...............which of course i am, lol

Apologies but have not been able to message you but I have had twitching in my calfs for 5 years none stop but no longer feel the majority but not sure if thats down to the Pregabalin.
Most others are hit and run although my left thenar muscle has started to occassionally twitch again in the last couple of weeks
