Sometimes I feel like I'm a low powered power line (help)

Postby MattHasGonecrazy on July 31st, 2004, 4:11 pm

Sometimes I feel as if there is an electric current running through me. The twitches are everywhere.

Please help me. I dont know if that is normal or part of bfs.

Matt-

I feel your emotional pain. So many of us have scraped the proverbial emotional bottom before making our way to this site. Please take heart,
my bfs started with a sensation of my leg feeling like it was going to fall asleep but never did. It stayed with that buzzing sensation for months and months. Now it comes and goes. I told my husband the same thing, "it feels like I am plugged into a light socket with a mild current going through my lower calf."

It is a wierd sensation, which is all the more reason to be assured--sensations are a positive sign when worrying about certain NMD!
Have you seen a physician yet? It might be all the reassurance you need.

Have a good night!

yes the low power current is what i have....its very hard to decribe the sensation. in fact its all a sensation combo, buzzing, sparkling, low current electric,vibro,popcorn,tingling,ect.. twitching is the only visible symptom.

I have almost constant buzzing sensations in my lower calf and feet. Mostly left side.
