Muscle cramps

Hi all ,
bit of advice needed for muscle cramps .

Calves & thighs mostly ,incredible really as to how fit I was 2 months ago .

Exercised 2 days ago and getting those dull cramps .

I read Bfsburger swears by bathing in Dead Sea salts so going to get some and try them .

Any other ideas are welcome thanks .

Warm baths are indeed very helpful, as well as slight massages and warmth in general ( I used deep heat)

I have been reading some of your posts ,you are truly a legend with the advice & time you give

Would those ease the twitching also .?

Calves are crazy at the moment

Likely not, at least in my own experience. For me,heat eases up the stiffness and cramps, but unfortunately also ramps Up the twitching. For the twitching, you can try muscle relaxation. I did it lying on my back, slowly breathing into my belly so that moves up and down. And every time I exhaled, I tried to relax my muscles a bit more and to meke them feel heavier. Maybe that works for you too. I got quite good at this muscle relaxation technique to stop hot spots, but I fear that direct.y after a hot bath it won't work too good.

Ok need a bit more advice please.

Getting really bad hand aches lately ,anyone recommend something to ease this ?

HI All

So here I am nearly a year in, I have no problems or fear with the twitching at all,calves still twitching away, its still the cramping pains that are my nemesis. :evil:
The pain I get is all over my body now, different day different place .I am starting to go down the root of Fibromyalgia as its pain from head to toe.
Not worried at all by it just thought I would add a thought to the board.

Hi, I have cramps also in my feet, every day since months. Sometimes I am able to help my with hot water or hot foot bath...

Yeah, I use a few things...first any type of stress relief is the most important. We have to calm down that nervous system. Second, dead sea salt baths in water as hot as you can stand it. Mg supplementation with eating a banana a day I have also found to be helpful. I add protein shakes to my diet which helps repair muscle and get the body out of a state of catabolism.
