Medications to Reduce/Eliminate Twitching

Threads like this have been done before, but not recently, from what I can tell and the more recent info about this, the better.

For those of you for whom frequent/widespread/violent twitching is your main problem, have you found any medications or medication combinations that have worked to successfully reduce your twitching to reasonable levels where it's not overtaking your waking and/or sleeping hours?

(I came across a very old thread from a few years back in which a poster, msm, was singing the praises of this drug (lamictal), saying that at a high enough dose, it reduced her twitching by close to 98% and allowed her to resume a normal, active life. I also read some stories of a few others who tried the drug with no success, and one person who found relief with a combination of lamictal and tegretol.)

Gatorade. Im on day 2 of the stuff and the spasms have gone down by at least 75% for the first time in 3 weeks. As per suggestion from Wells05 who says hers completely stopped after several weeks drinking Gatorade. It is too soon for me to make any claims though. This could be nonsense. I will report back after a reasonable amount of time has passed. I just wanted to get this entered for the record.

Sorry nobody has posted a reply here other than my Gatorade thing.

Have you considered Gabapentin or Lyrica? I assume you are a veteran with the medication options, given your symptoms. But I wanted to enter these for the record.

Doc seemed very willing to prescribe to me.

Also did you check out that medication I told you about on the chat a few weeks back? My buddy swears by it. All of them seem to be seizure or parkinsons related meds.
