Vibrations, pinpricks, bee sting, buzzing oh my!!

Postby Fan on June 14th, 2011, 11:26 am

Well, I don't know what to do. I am just lost I read everyones post and everyone is suffering in their own symptoms.

I don't know what good comparing symptoms will do but at the worst time I think it helps.
I have no diagnosis but lots of pain for 13 years

I have this head to toe.

Please help me. All at the same time whole body or just fluctuating all day

Okay let's start wig vibration/ tremor(more like super fast tic tic tic tic under skin)
All day in legs, my face, ear lobes and neck and back.
Everytime this is worse all the other nerve pain worse.
It's so on the surface that I see that spot quivering but it's so super fine! Not like giant twitch.

Tmj like
Extreme pain of muscle tightness in face, jaw and neck/ throat.
Feel the pulling in face and it gets so tigt it remains tight for days can get so severe like my jaw about to break.
Causes pulling in ear muscles Which cause fullness feeling and tinitis
Darlings even get so tight as if they gonna rip off.
The whole face gets activated with pin pricks, stabbing shooting ice pricks
Sharp sharp like knife cutting. Even teen get tight and tongue will burn and tingle
Whole ear will burn my whole scalp burn twitch, vibrate. The I also get throbbing ache.
Feels like my whole face gonna ripp off.
This is te extreme crap I have!!
Then yea the constant twitchin that's fast or slow.

Then I get fire everywhere. Goes from cold to heat like to this to that. Now his is al over my body
Pin pricks bee stings
Then the throbbin ache and muscle spasms and cramps.
Even this is migrating from one spot to the other.

Stiffness and sometimes any small movemnt and I get cramp
An spasms!

I am just going crazy the nerve
Spits out so much intense pain.

So many symptoms happening at the same time all over is so painfull!! :-((
The other thing is the tingling and the buzzing pins and needles is so on the surface.
Hard to explain but let's say your palm Is going crazy like mine will buzz and tingle but it can be in pin size area and I can feel it on the surface and when I look I can see that pin small
Area always flickering but it's spiting out intense pain when tingling

Anyone of you have such intense nerve pain that's so debilitating. I am in be all day! This has taken a huge toll on my life.
Cause the Nerve pain is sooo painful!

Emg/ncv normal. All test normal even skin biopsy ( but doc only did one sample)
I don't know what to do!! I am so sad! Depressed

This does stop and left with spasms then one day later it comes back.

Oh and when it's here it get so bad that I can't touch one had with other as it intensifies the nerve pain I looked it up it's called allodyna. When stimulus that's not suppose to cause pain actually causes me nerve pain. Intense dull pain.

I know it's all nerve but what the hell!!
Not taking anything yet only here and there. Terrified to get on meds

Fan - looks like you've jumped the fence to despair. This is not good as depression only makes it all worse - lowers your immunity, adds further stress, NOT GOOD. Sooo....I know what you mean about wanting to avoid meds - I'm like that too - but just taking them to level out and get things manageable is not the same as a life-long habit. I tried several and ended up with gabapentin for a few months then tapered off. You need to find a better place to start from, right? Well, go talk to your doc/neuro about it and try some out. Nobody is going to make you stay on them. Or even a psychiatrist for the depression.
And yes, there were times when I too had a lot of nerve pain but it has subsided. The tmj was bad as the pain can radiate and even make you nauseous (physical therapy helped with that - a type called cranial sacral). Spasms were awful - before my ruptured discs healed it was like being stabbed with a knife. So yeah, I understand how this can be. However, never lose sight of what is right with you; I know it sounds weird when you are in pain but it is really a way of focusing on the positive. Make a list even - what is right; you cooked a good meal, enjoyed some ice cream, planted something in the yard, read a book, it doesn't matter, because unless you are no longer of this earth there is always something good and right in you. My only advice is to find a starting point to heal from. For me meditation helped so here's some online sessions you can try and even download: http://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/psyc ... /audio.htm
It's free so nothing to lose there. Best of luck and many people are here to support you.

Thankyou so much.
I have neurontin, vimpat, Elavil, tramadol sitting. Haven't taken anything yet as I am like let this day go.
Well just took tramadol.
I am in bed all day everyday. My parents have moved in to help me with my kids.
The neuropathy sx bring me down as they are so painful sharp.
Constant from head to toe like sharp sharp cutting me constantly.

I tried lyric before gained 30 pounds and it did nothin so that was discouraging.
When I look up I have similarity to small fiber neuropathy with motor as I have twitch and spasms

I had my doc rum EBV blood test and Igm was normal but igg was severly high! What does that mean she can't tell me. Maybe a viral clue to cause of this.
I am clueless. Forget what's caused this cause inknow flu shot ruined me! But I need to heal!

Hmm just so ba that it's allllllllll over my body. The pin pricks are brutal

Well I have started going for massage and she is like a therapist listens to all my crap! Masques for an hour or more and charges for 30min. She is so dedicated to help me!

Made an appt for accupuncture whole dose hypnosis too and eft!
Going to a chiropractor for a new treatment called upper cervical care
No twisting or cracking is involved.

Started semi gluten and semi raw fruit veggie diet!

So but also crying and almost pulling my hair out in disperaton as the nerve pain HURTS !

I don't wanna go to my docs as no obduracy and they charge so much to just shake their heads!!

You should do a post about the high Igg and ask if anyone else has had high levels and what their progress has been.

Have you seen an immunologist or an allergist? A Rheumatoid specialist? It seems like any of these would be a good place to start with the Igg levels. I know they tested me for this stuff and told me it was to see if my immune system was out-of-whack (see I'm not a doc and since I tested OK, I stopped listening after they said "levels OK"). You need to find out what the results mean and if your doc shrugs that is not an answer. A specialist will prob want to run this test again but bring in your old results for a comparison. If you go to an allergist get a cost upfront - that was an expensive visit and even though insurance paid it seemed pretty pricey - make sure you are covered or they offer a payment plan. Try to stop freaking out as it just adds another layer to the body trying to cope. Even though the homeopaths helped me a lot (& physical therapy, acupuncture, etc) it was a bit like taking ibuprofen for a persistent headache - you get relief which is good but it didn't really get me down the road to recovery.

Also don't just sporadically take the meds - you need to have a method and some consistency. Some here have reported that they had to be on them for a while to experience relief - their bodies had to adjust, etc. You need guidance with this stuff (start with your pharmacist if your doc is not helpful) as everyone responds to Rx's differently. My insurance company has a call line - if you have one then use it - anything is better then a response to blind fear. Randomness is not a good method.

Take some deep breaths - make a plan and stick to it. Best of luck Fan, we're rooting for you.

I ask neuro and he has no clue
I have been to two rhumatologist and they have no clue.

Have you been tested for any of the herpes family of viruses? They all cause neurological problems and are almost always overlooked by physicians. They can cause any and all of your listed symptoms.

Fan - I don't see how they can't come up with something with these test results - I know there are some disorders with neurological symptoms that have high immune markers; one of the specialists thought my symptoms were reflecting specific diseases before my levels came back OK. He was the 'go to' guy that all the neuros wanted me to see to make sense of the symptoms. Maybe you need to go to a clinical neurologist that can Dx you one way or the other and not just shrug his/her shoulders? Why didn't the immunologist refer you to an allergist if he said the results were indicative of allergies? Why not get your test results form the immunologist and go yourself? How can you not be totally frustrated with these lame a**ses? Sorry - I know how it feels to be passed off from one to the other. I think you are going to have to be a little more demanding, look them in the eye and just say 'look you've got to help me'. I was lucky - things resolved and most agreed I was basically OK and would recovery over time given good conditions (the hard part) since I had no positive tests results that indicated otherwise. I do hope they have tested you for diabetes also? I agree with nonstop - follow through on it to make sure they have tested you. Just don't give up and get depressed as it will only make you feel worse.

90% of people have igg to ebv virus the titer of igg is not relevant, if its high it means you have a good immune response to the infection that you once got. Dont search for answers in the wrong places, if youve beem having sptoms for 13 years and no objective medical issues the best diagnosis that you will get is fibromyalgia or cfs depending on what symptoms you have more, and they both dont mean much. I think you should try the drugs that the doctors recommended and see of you get any relief.
