Pain Control -- what works?

Postby twitchfellow on March 25th, 2011, 11:52 am

I've had BFCS since 2007, but not until lately have I experienced severe pain, sharp aching in my calves and forearms, and I am hoping some forum members who suffer similarly might be able to recommend pain meds that work.

Thanks for any help you can offer....

Its nothing heavy duty, but Ibuprofen does wonders for my pain, joint pain and muscle pain. :D

I agree with mommyL. I would take IB's like tic tacs if they didn't blow up my stomach. They help tons

Its sounds old school but drinking lots of water will help with muscle pain. The more you twitch and the less you move around the more lactic acid builds up in your body. That is what we feel when we work out. That is your body's way of saying "whoa".

Drink water and/or gatoraid to flush that stuff out

Stretching, massage............helps also, keeps things loose
