I had my 2-month followup appointment with my internist yesterday. After being on Neurontin for three months, my pain intensifies. In order to address my migraines along with BFS symptoms (specifically idiopathic neuropathy in my legs), my doctor has prescribed Topomax. His other drug of choice would have been Depakote. Has anyone tried Topomax and/or Depakote? Would you share your experiences? I am really having a bad flair with the pain side of this syndrome. Thank you in advance.

Sorry to hear that you are having such a bad time. Neurontin has helped my pain as long as I don't overdue it. Another critical component for me has been getting enough sleep. My rheumy said sleep is critical for the muscle/nerves to remove toxins and regenerate. So if you are not sleeping well, please try to find a way to do so. As for the topomax/depakote, those are probably the only two drugs I haven't tried yet  .

good luck,
